The Official Knicks Colors are Blue, Black and "Pumpkin"...

In perusing Wikipedia the other day (yes, I have no life...) I came across the listed names for hexadecimal color codes. Each color is given a hexadecimal (hexa) code, a six digit code consisting of letters and/or numbers, although not all of the hexa codes correspond to an official color name.

I found a great website - teamcolors.arc90.com - that lists the hexa codes used in each NBA/MLB/NFL/NHL team logo. I then matched up these hexa codes with the hexa code to color names list from Wikipedia.

Below are the most unique color names from the list. One important point to note - the Mets orange is technically "Orioles Orange," whereas the Orioles orange is an unnamed color. #lolmets
