A really, reaallly low scoring game

Tonight the Rockets beat the Thunder 69-65.

That's a total combined score of 134. To put it in perspective, the Pelicans scored 139 points on Friday...

11: This was first time both teams in a matchup scored 70 points or fewer since 3/13/2005, and only the 11th time in NBA history.

Dwight probably wasn't laughing after going
4-14 from the field and 4-13 from the Free Throw Line
.05%: The lowest scoring game ever was Milwaukee 62 Boston 57 on 2/27/1955. This game ties for the 23rd lowest scoring game in NBA history (including playoffs). Out of roughly 50,00 games, that puts this game in the bottom .05% of all games in terms of total scoring.

28.8%*: Houston's field goal percentage (23-80), a new record low field goal percentage in a game for the Rockets.

29.4%*: Houston held Oklahoma City to 29.4% from the field. This is the fifth lowest opponent shooting percentage against the Rockets.

2*: This is only the second time that both teams in the same game have shot less than 30% from the field. The only other game where this happened was on 10/29/2003.

77: Number of consecutive games, including playoffs, that the Rockets had at least one player shoot 50% on field goals. They had kept this streak going for every game since 12/4/2013. Prior to that, this had not happened since 4/11/2011 (174 games). In fact, it has only has happened 5 times since 1997 (4/26/2007, 4/16/2012, 1/24/2001).

3/13/2005: Tonight was the lowest total score in a game since 3/13/2005, when Detroit beat Utah 64-62. (In that game, Detroit went 1-18 on 3 pt field goals.)
